PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Michigan now knows when it will take the field for its Halloween road game. The Wolverines and Rutgers will kick off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey, the Scarlet Knights’ home field.
Before that trip, Michigan stays home in Ann Arbor this Saturday, Oct. 24, for a noon game against sixth-ranked Indiana. That date doubles as Parents Weekend and the Big Ten Block Cancer Game at Michigan Stadium.
The Wolverines have owned this series. The programs have met 10 times, and Michigan has won nine in a row. Rutgers took the first meeting in 2014, its first win over a Big Ten opponent after joining the league.
Both teams enter the stretch run short of the goals they set in the summer. After the Rutgers game, Michigan returns to Ann Arbor to host rival Michigan State.
