NOVI, Mich. — Hundreds of classic cars, hot rods and TV and movie cars are headed to Novi this weekend for the Shiny Rust Hot Rod Spectacular, an indoor show at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace.
The show runs Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and on Sunday, October 18 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 each at the door, with discounted tickets available in advance. Kids 12 and under get in free, a two-day pass is $20 and a VIP option is offered.
Beyond the cars, the event will also feature a live racing simulator, a vintage pin-up contest and vendors.
Shiny Rust Promotions is producing the show, which returns for the second year of the Spectacular and bills itself as one of the newest classic car and hot rod shows in Metro Detroit.
The Grand River Avenue venue, formerly known as Suburban Collection Showplace, is one of the city’s major event sites and also hosts the Michigan State Fair over Labor Day weekend.
