ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan’s next test after ending its Big Ten skid is a home date in Ann Arbor with an Indiana team that has just lost for the first time since the 2024 playoff.

The Hoosiers come to Michigan Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 24, for a noon kickoff. Before Saturday’s 19-15 home defeat to Ohio State, Indiana had strung together 16 straight wins on the way to last season’s national title and a 6-0 start this fall.

That game turned in the final minute, when Nick Marsh hauled in a fourth-down throw in the end zone but could not stay inbounds. Indiana quarterback Josh Hoover went 20 for 40 for 296 yards and came back after hurting his shoulder.

The Hoosier defense limited Ohio State to 313 yards and intercepted Julian Sayin twice. Sayin was hurt in the game and is expected to miss several weeks.

Michigan dropped its first two conference games before rallying past Penn State 21-18 once Tommy Carr took over for Bryce Underwood at halftime. Going into that game the Wolverines had the nation’s No. 3 defense and an offense ranked 120th.
