NORTHVILLE, Mich. — Northville High School football hosts Salem on Friday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. in a Kensington Lakes Activities Association matchup as the Mustangs sit 6-1 overall and 4-0 in league play.

MaxPreps lists Northville first in its league table with a 4-0 league mark, 224 points scored and 114 allowed, and a one-game win streak entering the Salem date. The Mustangs are 3-1 at home and 3-0 on the road this season.

On Oct. 9 at Belleville, Northville came away 30-7, a result that followed an Oct. 2 home loss to Dearborn Fordson by a 14-10 score. Earlier league wins included Novi 52-7 and Plymouth 49-14.

Northville HS Mustangs compete in MHSAA Division 1 in the Kensington Lakes Activities Association, a perennial KLAA football contender profile that frames Friday as another league checkpoint rather than a one-off showcase.

Social House coverage of the Belleville trip described a three-team logjam feel in the Black Division conversation involving Northville, Belleville and Dearborn Fordson after Northville moved to 6-1 overall. The official schedule still shows the Mustangs at 4-0 in league games ahead of Salem.

Northville closes the posted regular-season slate with a league road date Oct. 23 against a TBA opponent after the Salem home game. Home games are at the Northville High campus on Six Mile Road.
